I organize three tech communities in Orlando and have been an AWS Community Builder since 2020. The online stuff matters, but the room-full-of-people stuff is where the real connections happen.
Orlando Devs
The largest tech community in Central Florida. Developers, designers, founders, and everyone in between. I serve as VP, which mostly means I care a lot about making sure this community stays genuinely useful to the people in it.
Orlando AWS User Group
Monthly meetups for AWS builders in Orlando: demos, deep dives, and a room full of people who actually want to talk about cloud architecture. If you're building on AWS in Central Florida, this is your people.
Orlando Lady Devs
A community for women and non-binary engineers in Orlando. We run events, mentorship, and the kind of candid conversations about careers that don't happen enough in tech.
AWS Community Builder
AWS's program for technical practitioners who share knowledge with the community. I focus on serverless, cloud architecture, and making AWS less intimidating for people who are newer to the cloud.
